Craft beer on the rise in Japan

"A society of craftsmen..." I love it.

Sierra Nevada disappointment

I was very disappointed to find out that the Sierra Nevada Brewing financially supports the local Planned Parenthood clinic in Chico. It is certainly not a great mystery that so many people, and their companies, would proudly label themselves as being "pro-choice" in this day of declining public morality and justice, but this is too much for me.

In this case, Sierra Nevada will have to make their otherwise excellent beer without my support.

That's too bad - I was just about to try their holiday brew. On the other hand, I agree with you, this is too much for me. Thanks for the heads up!

That is disappointing. I did find two pale ales that I think is better that SNPA. Poleeko Gold Pale Ale and Stone Pale Ale.

Greetings. I found your site through Pilgrims Pub. SNPA is my current cheap volume beer. I live just a few hours drive from Chico, have been there many times, and have toured the brewery. They have decent regular brews and a good seasonal in the Celebration Ale.
